Cadets are issued Army JROTC uniforms at no cost. Cadets will sign for their uniforms which make them pecuniary liable for maintaining accountability of issued uniforms and accessories if they are lost or become damaged due to negligence.
All uniform items have a "laundry" tag on them which explains the proper laundry procedures. If you follow them, you will be fine.

OCP Jacket and Pants: May be washed at home in normal laundry with like colors. Zip up the jacket and button the pants. Turn both items inside out for washing to protect the Velcro. Can be dried in a dryer but highly recommend you just allow them to air dry.
